CREATE A CUSTOM WORK OF ART
Here's an easy way to create a custom work of art. Customize any of my portfolio pieces the way you want it.
Process & Pricing
To commission a painting, email me with your desired size, color schemes (if any). You can also place an order of any of my previous paintings from my collection that fit your aesthetic. Please be sure that you are familiar with my style of painting and that it suits your taste. Most of my work is with acrylic painting.
I also create watercolor and mixed media art, which include pastels, sand, stone which can be bought unframed and are also made into greeting cards. You can also order something that may have already sold, or you would like something original or in another size or color
Once we agree on the vision for your piece, I begin working on your custom painting. I send at least 2 photos throughout the process to ensure that it is moving in a direction you are comfortable with. This is the time for you to give me feedback so that I can adjust the work before it is finalized.
Commissions take roughly 8-10 weeks to complete according to the size, complexity of design, and current workload. If you require a faster timeline, please let me know.
My commissioned paintings are typically the same price as my originals. For instance, if a 30x40" painting sells for $500. Your commissioned painting will be priced at that amount.
Once an agreement is made on the artwork 50% deposit should be given to start the work . The remaining balance is due within 30 days of your having approved the completed painted and before shipment.
We can either personally deliver your artwork .... would love to meet and greet you, if you live in Richmond Virginia.. Or will ship direct to your door step.
We will carefully package and wrap your purchase....if you have selected a piece of artwork for a gift , we can provide gift wrapping and a Special note.
You will be charged only for exact shipping and packaging fees. Please note, for international delivery, large paintings will be shipped rolled in a tube. This is the most secure way to ship large paintings so they will not be damaged or punctured in transit. Upon arrival, simply take it to your local framer, and they can restretch and/or frame it for you.Easy!
